Discretionary income is tough to come by in an economy such as the one we are experiencing. Sometimes we feel guilt if we eat out. However, it is nice to give Mom and Dad a break every once in awhile and treat them to lunch or dinner out!

Tuesday evenings kids eat free - 12 and under. We have eaten here 3 times - burritos, tacos and green chile - we thought the food was good, the portions were right on the money. We got the kids chicken fingers and they loved them.

Jason's Deli
Yes - Jason's Deli. Believe it or not. Jason's must have changed over the years because I did not remember it offering healthy food nor a kids menu. Jason's Deli offers a number of nutritous options - sandwiches and salads. It also offers a good kids menu. Our kids got a PB&J - we could have split one sandwich for the two of them as it was a good size - we got a combo meal with a side and organic apple juice.

Jason's offers snacks for the kids -----crackers and mini muffins which they can snack on prior to the meal. We have certainly been caught on the go with hungry, tantrum ready kids and Jason's makes it easy to accomodate.

You have to check your closest location - we went to the one on Parker Road - kids eat free after 4 pm. Definitely a good deal!
