Day Out With Thomas, Sept 6-7,13-14, 20-21: Thomas the Tank Engine is making his way to Golden for three weekends of family fun as the annual Day Out With Thomas™ event celebrates 30 years of unforgettable memories! This exciting family event offers an unforgettable experience, with every ticket including a ride aboard a train pulled by a life-sized Thomas the Tank Engine. Enjoy a full day of activities, including live entertainment, photo ops with Sir Topham Hatt, lawn games, and shopping for exclusive Thomas swag at the pop-up gift shop.
Tickets go on sale to the public starting Tuesday, July 29, 2025, with prices set at $25 for ages 1 and up (service charges and fees may apply). Due to limited capacity, advanced ticket purchase is required, and walk-up sales will not be available. Museum Members can access early ticket sales starting Tuesday, July 22, 2025. Sales will begin at 9 a.m. on both dates.
